Smear the prawns with salt and wash well. Then apply some Turmeric Powder and keep aside for 5 minutes.
Heat half the Ghee/Clarified Butter in a pan and heat the Prawns for 2 minutes, then remove the prawns from the pan and keep aside.
Now add the Cloves, Cinnamon, Bay Leaves and Green Cardamom Pods and heat briefly. Add the finely chopped onions and stir, fry on low heat for about 1 minute or till onions are browned. Add the Chilli Powder and Garlic & Ginger Paste. Fry briefly until the oil evaporates. Add the Prawns and Coconut Milk and then add Salt to taste, Cook on medium heat for about 2 minutes the add the remaining Ghee/ Clarified Butter and cove tightly for a few minutes.
